Terms and Conditions of use

User acceptance

By accessing Lookmash.com, you accept these Terms and Conditions of use (”Terms”). If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, please do not access the Website.
You acknowledge you own all content and information you post on Lookmash.com and you give Lookmash.com a non-exclusive, worldwide permission to use it. This permission remains in force until your Lookmash.com profile is active.
By posting content on Lookmash.com, you also accept that only registered users can follow your profile or post comments. You also acknowledge that non-registered Lookmash.com users may view your pictures, avatar and login.
If you are a registered user of Lookmash and have supplied your email address, Lookmash may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with Lookmash and our products.

Privacy policy

Your privacy is important to Lookmash.com. Please read the following information on how your personal information is collected and how it can be used.We reserve the right to process your personal information including but not limited to login, pictures and avatars for internal statistics processing and to share it with other users and third parties for marketing purposes. By bounding these ”Terms”, you agree that Lookmash.com may suspend or deny access to the Website and all linked information and content without notice at any time. Any abusive or illegal content posted on the website may result in closing your account and may be presented for consideration to appropriate authorities.

Facebook connection

By connecting your Lookmash account with Facebook you accept that Lookmash upload your personal data from your profile such as: name and surname, date of birth, place, phrase, email adress and your profile photo. You also agree that Lookmash will publish information about each of your added questions on your Facebook wall. In case you used plugin to add your question we will use your gallery as well.

General conditions:

You may not post nude, partially nude, or sexually suggestive photos.

You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your screen name.
You must not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other Lookmash users.
You may not use the Lookmash service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. International users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, photos, profiles, links ("Content") that you submit, post, and display on Lookmash.
You must not modify, adapt or hack Lookmash or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with Lookmash.
You must not crawl, scrape, or otherwise cache any content from Lookmash including but not limited to user profiles and photos.
You must not create or submit unwanted email or comments to any Lookmash members ("Spam")
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

Violation of any of these agreements will result in the termination of your Lookmash account. While Lookmash prohibits such conduct and content on its site, you understand and agree that Lookmash cannot be responsible for the Content posted on its web site and you nonetheless may be exposed to such materials and that you use Lookmash at your own risk.

We reserve the right to force forfeiture of any username that becomes inactive, violates trademark, or may mislead other users.

We may, but have no obligation to, remove Content and accounts containing Content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party's intellectual property or these Terms and Conditions.
Although Lookmash will normally only delete Content that violates this Agreement, we reserve the right to delete any Content for any reason, without prior notice. Deleted content may be stored by Lookmash in order to comply with certain legal obligations and is not retrievable without a valid court order. Consequently, Lookmash encourages you to maintain your own backup of your Content because Lookmash is not a backup service. Lookmash will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of Lookmash, or the loss of any Content.

Termination of the account

Any content that is added to the site that violates these Terms and Conditions and the terms of EULA will be removed from the site and the account of the user that added it will be ejected within 24 hours from posting them on the site.

Indemnification and liability

You agree to use the Website at your own risk and discretion and therefore to release indemnify, and hold harmless Lookmash.com against and from any claim or cause of action for any direct or indirect damages incurred from such use.

WWW sites

Lookmash.com reserves the right to paste and use all the photos the sites entered by users in their profiles containes. The photos can be used only within by the administrators or their owner.

Copyrights

All content including but not limited to photos, software compilations, trademarks and source codes presented on this website are the property of Lookmash.com or its content providers and cannot be used or reproduced in any shape or form other than for personal use and may not be shared by any third party.

No Guarantee of Correctness

The content has been prepared and/or obtained for general information and entertainment purposes only. You acknowledge that Lookmash, its owners, partners, employees, officers, directors, attorneys, and agents do not promise or guarantee that the content is correct, complete, or up-to-date. There is no guarantee that the content is correct, complete, or up-to-date for any specific circumstance.

The content may link to other locations via the Internet, and there is no endorsement, guarantee or warranty made or implied with respect to the content and information available at another site, and Lookmash does not monitor any linked sites or evaluate the propriety or correctness of any information available at a linked site. You agree that Lookmash does not have any liability for anything on someone else's website.

Final provisions

Lookmash.com reserves the right to modify these ”Terms” without notice. We recommend the users to periodically verify the content for possible changes.

Terms&conditions for usage of lookmash widget for online shops

Lookmash Ltd, headquarters: Gdańsk, Lęborska 3b, Poland, registered at KRS no. 0000394644, represented by Łukasz Brzeziński, is a company which provides widget for online shops.

1. Registration and code generation

User gets his own account on www.lookmash.com. For this account login and password is being sent to user by an email. The account is connected to users' online shop website. User can change his account access.

Lookmash sends widget installation code by an email.

For a successful widget installation given code needs to be pasted before the ending '</body>' tag.

Correctly installed widget shall be activated on every shops' site, except the sites that have content discordant with Lookmash policy.

Owner of the webshop is also obliged to add a code to the page that ends transaction (so called thank you page)
The code for every webshop is:

Where:
orderId - id of the order,
valueOfTheOrder - the price of the order,
productId1 ... productIdN - list of products ids separated by ';' sign,

EXAMPLE:
For order nr 10000, which contains two products 123 and 456 which total value is 400 lei the field will look like this:

2. Payment

a) free comparisons within widget

b) return link to online shop, appearing on lookmash.com service

c) „ask a friend” function

4. Cooperation period:

Cooperation starts with the date of widget installation on users' online shop.

Widget free using period is 1 month.

After that time unless user removes widget, cooperation is automatically prolonged at commercial terms.

5. Cooperation prolongation.

Cooperation prolongation on commercial terms follows due to pricing given at www.lookmash.net

6. Terms of termination.

Cooperation expires with the widget removal from users' online shop.

The Lookmash company reserves the right to expire cooperation if comparisons appearing on widget are discordant with Lookmash company policy.

7 Remarks

1. User agrees not to make Lookmash company responsible for consequences of cooperation prolongation.

2.The Lookmash company does not take responsibility for the consequences of wrong widget installation.

3. The Lookmash company has a right to remove the content that is discordant with its policy.

4. Widget was tested and works properly with the following browsers:

Internet Explorer >= 8

Google Chrome

Firefox >= 1.5

Opera >= 11

Safari 4 & 5

Widget is still being tested in other browsers. Their list will be updated in these Terms&conditions.

5.The Lookmash company reserves the right to use the users' website for references.

6.Any changes in these Terms&conditions require written form.
